Tenuta il Corno è una delle più belle Tenute della Val di Pesa, costruita nel XII secolo ad opera di un'antica famiglia fiorentina, di origine pistoiese, i Del Corno. Nel 1523, in pieno Rinascimento entrò a far parte del patrimonio della Famiglia Strozzi, divenne la residenza estiva del Granduca, acquistando grande notorietà. Dal 1911 è di proprietà dei Conti Frova Arroni di Arrone che continuano a sviluppare con amore e determinazione l'attività vitivinicola ed olearia, unendo all'alta tecnologia di produzione una particolare sensibilità alla tradizione ed alla tipicità del territorio. Alla fine degli anni 80 sono state recuperate e restaurate alcune tra le principali case coloniche della tenuta e sono tutt’oggi adibite ad attività agrituristica. In queste strutture sia gli appartamenti che le camere sono arredati con cura ed eleganza recuperando antiche mobilie e si concilia semplicità e tradizione. È possibile trascorrere piacevoli soggiorni, rilassandosi in una delle piscine completamente immerse nel verde, oppure concedendosi un tipico pasto al ristorante o degustando i nostri vini. La Villa offre inoltre la possibilità di trascorrere, in una romantica cornice rinascimentale, cerimonie di nozze, feste ed organizzare meeting, conventions ed altro.

At the end of the 19th century, Camillo and Arturo Frova studied Agriculture at the University of Florence and convinced their father to invest in Tuscany buying an estate called "Il Corno" –property of the heirs of Grand Duke Leone Strozzi–. After World War II, which brought about big losses in the family's properties in Veneto, the whole family decided to settle in Tuscany, where it still resides. Antonio, Camillo's son, and then Maria Giulia, Antonio's daughter, have been carrying on their family's tradition by working with passion and dedication on the "Tuscan land". Since 1911 the Counts Frova Arroni di Arrone carried on all its traditional agronomic activities –oil and wine production– with diligence and commitment, in a perfect union between high technology, traditional methods and respect for the environment. Towards the end of the 1990s some of the main country houses of the estate were restored and renovated and today they serve as accommodation for our guests. There are rooms and apartments –partly made up of original pieces– where tradition, elegance and simplicity create a real magic atmosphere. Here you will spend very relaxing holidays, sun baths or swimming in one of our pools surrounded by our big park. Enjoy some of our delicious typical food and drinking one of our fine wines! Finally, the Villa represents a romantic Renaissance-style location where to celebrate weddings, parties, meetings, conventions and any other events.
